Risk Disclosure Notice
Comprehensive overview of market, liquidity, quantitative execution, and systemic financial risks associated with trading leveraged derivatives and algorithmic products.
1 General Investment Risk
Trading in Contracts for Difference (CFDs), Foreign Exchange (Forex), Precious Metals, Indices, and Digital Assets carries a high degree of financial risk and may result in losses that equal or exceed your initial invested capital. Leveraged derivative products are complex financial instruments and are not suitable for all investors.
Before opening a live trading account or allocating capital, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, financial condition, risk appetite, and level of trading experience. You should never invest funds that you cannot afford to lose completely without impacting your lifestyle.
2 Leverage and Margin Risk
Leverage provides the ability to control large notional positions with a relatively small margin deposit. While leverage significantly amplifies potential returns, it equally amplifies potential losses. Adverse market fluctuations can rapidly deplete your account equity and trigger automated stop-out / liquidation protocols.
Global Prime Trade enforces strict account-level margin requirements and negative balance protection for qualifying retail accounts to prevent client indebtedness beyond deposited balances.
3 AI Robo & Quantitative Algorithm Risk
Global Prime Trade offers automated algorithmic trade assistance and quantitative strategy execution modules ("AI Robo"). Please take notice of the following critical operational principles:
- No Certainty or Guarantee: The AI trading engine evaluates historical data, quantitative indicators, volatility metrics, and technical signals. It does not predict future price action with certainty. Past performance of any algorithm does not guarantee future results.
- Pre-Execution Risk Controls: Every algorithmic order generated by the system must satisfy predefined stop-loss, position sizing, exposure limit, and maximum drawdown parameters prior to execution.
- User Authorization: The client retains absolute discretion over selecting risk profiles (Conservative, Balanced, Aggressive) and can toggle automated trading ON or OFF instantly at any time.
- Market Disruption: Unprecedented macroeconomic news, flash crashes, sovereign regulatory announcements, and market liquidity voids may cause slippage or execution price variance beyond modeled parameters.
4 Market Volatility & Execution Latency
During periods of extreme market volatility or low liquidity (such as major central bank rate decisions or weekend rollover gaps), market bid-ask spreads may widen significantly. Market orders may experience positive or negative slippage from the quoted price at the moment of transmission.
5 Risk Disclosure
Trading in financial markets involves risk, and losses may occur. GlobalPrimeTrade applies a predefined 2% maximum risk level per trade, subject to the applicable trading plan and terms.
Our AI-based system continuously analyses market conditions and manages trades according to the selected strategy. Any floating loss shown on an open trade is unrealised and may change before the position is closed.
Where applicable, Negative Balance Protection and eligible loss-compensation provisions apply in accordance with the Client Agreement.
AI technology does not guarantee profits or eliminate market risk. All trading remains subject to market conditions, execution, slippage and applicable terms.
